1. Plastic T Section

The PVC T section profile gets its name from its "T" shape. It is used mostly as a joining or dividing profile between two surfaces, but can also provide separation or alignment in certain projects.

Main Features of PVC T section:

  • Design: The vertical stem of the "T" fits between two adjoining materials, while the horizontal top cap aligns with the surface. The edges are flat with no curves.
  • Application: Plastic T section is typically used to join or align materials, particularly in sectors like signage, paneling, or situations where a division between or joining of two materials is required.
  • Material: Our rigid PVC T section is manufactured from external grade PVC, which can be both used indoors and outdoors. 

The T section is useful when you need to create a uniform separation between two panels or sections, without creating a visible gap.

2. Plastic T Barb

The Plastic T barb profile is similar in shape to the T section, but with added barbs along the vertical leg of the profile. These barbs help with grip and allow the profile to be knocked into position into a groove or slot.

Main Features of PVC T Barb:

  • Design: Similar in shape to the T section, but with barbs along the vertical leg.
  • Flat Top vs. Convex Top: There are two options for the horizontal leg, it is available with either a flat or curved top.
    • Flat Top: This design creates a flat surface after installation.
    • Convex Top: The curved top offers a more rounded appearance, often chosen for aesthetic purposes.
  • Application: These profiles are often called knock-on trim and are designed to be knocked or pushed into a slot or groove along the edge of a board or panel.
  • Material: our rigid PVC T Barb is manufactured from an external grade PVC which means it can be used indoors and outdoors. 

The plastic T barb is effective when a T shaped profile needs to be anchored into a groove.

3. Plastic H Interlocking Section

Our plastic H Interlocking profiles are designed as a two-part system, consisting of two different profiles. There is a base profile and a top profile. The top profile is similar to our convex T barb, and it can be pushed into the base profile. It is important to use the two profiles (top and base) with each other, as our other T barb profiles will not fit into the base. Plastic H interlocking trim is often used as a joining profile. 

Main Features of our Plastic H Interlocking Section:

  • Design: A two-part system with a top profile, which has a curved top, and a base profile. There are several size options for the top profile which can all be used with the same base profile. Please note that other T barbs in our standard range do not fit into this base.
  • Application: Often used to join PVC sheets, wall panels, or other flat materials, especially when a seamless transition between two panels is needed.
  • Material: As with the other profiles, H interlocking sections are made from external grade rigid PVC, which can be used both indoors and outdoors.

This profile is frequently used when a connection between two panels needs to be hidden or when the aim is to join boards without visible fasteners or gaps.
