U channel is a three-sided profile usually with square corners, shaped like the letter “U”, and used to cap, guide or edge various materials.
It is an extruded profile with two parallel side walls and a base, designed to fit over the edge of a board, panel or similar object. U channels are commonly used for capping edges, creating sliding tracks or acting as trim. At MKM Extrusions, U channels are made from rigid PVC and are available in the colours black or white. They come in various different dimensions and can be used in many different ways. Custom sizes and colours may be an option for larger orders, and free samples can be requested to check for suitability.
