Plastic tubing is extruded by melting plastic granules and forcing them through a round die, creating a continuous hollow profile.
The process begins with PVC granules being fed into an extruder, where they are heated and melted. The molten plastic is then pushed through a circular die. After extrusion, the tubing is cooled and cut to the desired length.
At MKM Extrusions, most of our plastic tubing is manufactured from external grade rigid PVC. It is sold in 75 metre packs in the colours black and white, and each pack contains 25 x 3 metre lengths. It may be possible to manufacture custom sizes and colours through our custom plastic extrusion process.
