Plastic extrusion is a process in which plastic raw material grannules are melted and then pushed through a die to create continuous profiles with a consistent cross-section.
This method allows for efficient production of plastic items such as plastic angle trims, plastic flat bar strips, plastic channels and plastic square tubing. The shape of the die determines the form of the final profile, which is then cooled and cut to the required length. At MKM Extrusions, all profiles in their stock range are made from PVC using this extrusion process. Most of the stock range are manufactured using rigid PVC (lengths)and there are also some available in flexible PVC (coiled). Our stock profiles are available in black or white. Custom designs and colours may be produced for larger volumes through our custom plastic extrusion process subject to review by the technical team.
