Plastic profile extrusion is a manufacturing process where heated plastic is forced through a shaped die to produce continuous profiles with a fixed cross-section.
The process starts with feeding plastic granules such as PVC into an extruder, where the material is melted. It is then pushed through a die that defines the profile's shape. Once formed, the profile is cooled and cut to length. At MKM Extrusions, this method is used to produce a wide range of plastic profiles including plastic angle trims, plastic channels, plastic flat strips and many more. All profiles are extruded with a consistent shape along their length and are available from their stock range in black or white. Custom colours and shapes may be possible for larger production volumes. Specifications can be emailed for review by the technical team.
