Extruded profiles are manufactured by forcing melted raw material through a shaped die to create a continuous length with a fixed cross-section. These profiles can take many forms, the more popular shapes are L shaped angles, channels, flat strips and tubes. The shape depends on the shape of the die or tool used.
The extrusion process ensures the profile maintains the same shape along its entire length. At MKM Extrusions, all profiles are plastic and are produced using this extrusion method. The result is a wide range of consistent, useful shapes which are available in black or white on their easy to use online shop. For larger production volumes, custom plastic extrusions with custom shapes and colours may be possible after review by the technical team.
