Board corner joints
Our PVC corner joint sections, which are also known as board corner joints, are designed to fit into boards which are positioned at a 90 degree angle. As well as providing support, board corner joints can hide and protect cut ends of boards and panels. Materials that can be pushed into the profile include foamex, plywood, glass and other commonly used materials.

Our universal corner joints are suitable to be used as both internal and external corner joints.

Who uses plastic corner joints?
Typically customers from the signage, building, shopfitting, display and exhibitions stand industries use plastic corner joints. However, as with all our plastic profiles, we have customers from a wide range of sectors. Although these plastic joining profiles are not structural, they give a clean appearance when covering 90 degree joints.

Sizing and dimensions of corner joint trim
1st dimension (mm) is the board size
2nd dimension (mm) is the external short leg
3rd dimension (mm) is the external long leg
4th dimension (mm) is the thickness
As an example, CORNER JOINT 18-20mm x 18mm x 41mm x 1.5mm is designed to use with 18-20mm boards, the legs are 18mm and 41mm and the thickness of the profile is 1.5mm.
